Skin renews its outermost layer roughly every 28 days. Our protocol times bio-active peptides and hydration windows to this rhythm so ingredients arrive when cells are most receptive to signaling.

Molecules that actually absorb

Peptides are delivered at sizes small enough to cross the barrier and register at their target receptors. Hyaluronic acid is used in low and high molecular weights, and GHK-Cu is dosed within the clinically studied topical range.

Copper peptide biology

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide that declines ~60% between age 20 and 60. In clinical work it up-regulates collagen and elastin synthesis, supports antioxidant defenses, and improves skin firmness and clarity when applied topically.

04 · Barrier-First Protocol

Cleanse, treat, seal

Density is a barrier outcome. A pH-balanced cleanse restores the acid mantle, targeted actives modulate pigment and signaling, and a peptide-retinoid cream directs overnight repair. Layered, they compound.

The Method

A protocol, not a product.

Skin is a downstream tissue. What arrives in the dermis — amino acids, minerals, signaling peptides — comes from what circulates. Selene's daily rituals feed the substrate; the topical layer directs it.
